Receivables Asset Trust II Complete Regulatory Filings
</pre> <p><location>TORONTO</location>, <chron>Dec. 14</chron> /CNW/ -- Canadian Capital Auto Receivables Asset Trust (CCARAT) and Canadian Capital Auto Receivables Asset Trust II (CCARAT II) have each re-filed chief executive officer and chief financial officer certifications related to their respective annual filings for the year ended <chron>Dec. 31, 2008</chron> and interim filings for the periods ended <chron>March 31, 2009</chron> and <chron>June 30, 2009</chron>.</p> <p/> <p>This action has been taken at the request of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and in accordance with National Instrument (NI) 52-109 - Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings. The new certifications replace and supersede the originally filed certifications, which were not in compliance with the revised requirements of NI 52-109.</p> <p/> <p>Based on discussions with the OSC, CCARAT and CCARAT II also have expanded the disclosure provided in their respective <chron>Sept. 30, 2009</chron> interim filings. This expanded disclosure, which was filed on <chron>Nov. 30, 2009</chron>, is reflected in the financial statements and in management's discussion and analysis of financial condition and results of operations.</p> <p/> <p>Subsequent to these filings, CCARAT was granted an order terminating its status as a reporting issuer under applicable Canadian securities laws. CCARAT no longer has any securities outstanding and has no current intention of distributing securities to the public.</p> <p/> <p>CCARAT and CCARAT II are special purpose master trusts, the business activities of which are limited to the purchase, acquisition, administration and sale of financial assets, including financial assets acquired from GMAC <location>Canada</location> and its affiliates, and the borrowing of funds or the issuance of securities to finance these purchases.</p> <pre> </pre> <p> </p> <p> </p> <pre> Contact: Chris McNamee 212-884-7935 [email protected]
