TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - As students finish a National Day of Action for post-secondary education, the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario has released new videos to keep the momentum going on it's province-wide Fight the Fees campaign.
The videos highlight the benefits of membership in the Federation, discussing the campaigns, lobbying and services the organization can offer Ontario's college and university students. In addition to serving as a membership awareness and education tool, the video also encourages students to get more involved in their student movement to bring about tangible and positive social change both on and off campus.
"As an organization representing over 350,000 college, undergraduate and graduate students, we believe it is vitally important to ensure our members know the transformative work we are doing across the province," said Rajean Hoilett, Chairperson for the Federation. "Coming off an extremely successful Day of Action means we must harness that energy and keep our members engaged in our campaigns as we move forward and this is one tool among many we are using for that purpose."
The Canadian Federation of Students–Ontario unites more than 350,000 college and university students in all regions of the province.
