Canadian Hearing Society hosting free symposium and employment fair for people who are Deaf and hard of hearing
TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2016 /CNW/ - On Thursday, September 22, 2016, the Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) is hosting Creating an accessible world: FREE symposium and employment fair as part of International Week of the Deaf (IWD).
The theme for IWD this year is "With sign language, I am equal" and coincides with the 65th anniversary of the World Federation of the Deaf and commemorates the 10-year anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
