Canadian Metalworking to host tabletop show in Coquitlam, B.C.
TORONTO, April 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Canadian Metalworking magazine will be hosting a one-day tabletop show at the Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam, B.C., on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
The Metalworking Manufacturing & Production Show will feature displays of the latest in machine tools, cutting tools, fabricating and welding technologies, production software, and metrology.
Canadian Metalworking will be co-hosting the show with sister publication, Design Engineering, which will give attendees the opportunity to network with a larger group of industry professionals.
"The Metalworking Manufacturing & Production Show will bring suppliers and users of manufacturing technology together at no cost to attendees, in a one day event," says Steve Devonport, Publisher of Canadian Metalworking.
"We're looking forward to bringing the show to the Vancouver-area, because we feel that market has been underserved in the past. We've been very pleased with the response from the exhibitors and anticipate a great show."
Combined with the Design Engineering Exhibition (DEX) there will be over 60 companies presenting the latest in manufacturing technology - from machine tools to additive manufacturing.
The show will also feature free admission and parking, with prizes being given away throughout the course of the day.
The event is sponsored by Sandvik Coromant, Mazak Canada, Elliott Matsuura Canada, and TRUMPF.
