TORONTO , Jan. 6 /CNW/ - Excalibur Resources Ltd. has announced a share consolidation on the basis of one (1) post consolidation common share for every eight (8) pre-consolidation common shares. Any fractional shares will be adjusted up to the next whole post consolidation common share. The record date for the reclassification is January 11, 2010 .

The common shares of Excalibur Resources will trade on Thursday, January 7, 2010 on a consolidated basis.

Open orders for Excalibur Resources will be purged from the trading system at the close of business on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 . CNSX Dealers are reminded to re-enter their orders taking into account the share consolidation.

The common shares of Excalibur Resources Ltd. have been assigned a new CUSIP number, 30065J 20 6. The trading symbol will remain "XBR"
