'I put my heart & soul into making sure all of the 14 songs are as good as it gets musically from my writing ability to the production values!! I want the great people that listen to my music to know it's EVERYTHING I HAVE in my heart and soul.' Frank D'Angelo
Frank has crazy, boundless energy and is a fiery entertainer who takes his audience on a blazing journey. Frank and the Frank D'Angelo Band will perform on May 12 at the Boston Manor in Burlington and May 20 at Theatre Rialto in Montreal. Tickets available through the links below. The concerts will be taped and parts will be aired on the last episode of the second season of The Being Frank Show on May 25th. There is truly nothing better than a powerful vocal and a hot horn section in a R&B band. Frank's band is a fifteen piece extravaganza and features some of Canada's finest musicians. It will be a night of great music and entertainment in the spirit of some of Canada's great R&B bands like Lighthouse and David Clayton Thomas. Frank and his band have entertained Canadian Troops and opened for Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and more.
The current single 'You're the One' written by Frank, is a powerful song about love, forgiveness and making relationships work. It is available on iTunes and is at radio now being added to stations across Canada, the UK, U.S., Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
His debut CD, You Gotta Believe to Believe was released in March 2007. The proceeds went towards breast cancer research. In 2008 he released his second album Full Circle. In 2009 in time for Christmas D'Angelo released a touching version of the holiday classic 'Silent Night' and then followed up in 2010 with an original song for the holidays, 'Let's Celebrate', with proceeds going to charities that support the homeless. To date his YouTube channel has received over 3.5 million hits. http://www.youtube.com/user/frankdangelomusic?ob=0
Frank D'Angelo excels at many things and is a truly modern renaissance man. As a performer he knew there was a big void in Canadian television for Canadians to promote their talents and created a national late night talk-variety show, The Being Frank Show on CHCH Television. He wanted a platform to showcase our Canadian talent and is now finishing up the second season. Al Pacino, Graham Greene, Murray McLauchlan, Tony Bennett, Ian Thomas, Bill Fichtner, Kevin Hearn of The Barenaked Ladies, Kim Coates, Estella Warren, Bai Ling, Snow, Pavlo and many more have all been guests on the show.
D'Angelo grew up in a family of Italian descent in Toronto. He is the founder and CEO of one of Canada's leading beverage producers and marketers D'Angelo Brands. He is well known as an entrepreneur, innovator and marketer and has been featured in Marketing Magazine, Canadian Business, Profit Magazine and on a host of radio and television programs. The Toronto born, self-confessed hockey fanatic is as equally at ease discussing bottling speed lines and product changeovers as he is sharing good-natured, locker room humor with some rather famous teammates after a weekend hockey game, taking the stage as the front man for his band or raising money through benefit performances and CD sales for breast cancer research, prostate cancer research and a host of other charities.
