Canadian R&B Singer/Songwriter Frank D'Angelo Announces Mini Concert Tour for the Release of his 4th Album CD
TORONTO, March 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Coming off a great week on US radio with his latest single 'You're The One' the #1 most added on the FMBQ radio charts - tying with Macy Gray, John Mayer and Katy Perry - Frank D'Angelo has announced a mini concert tour to celebrate the release of his 4th album CD, 'The Winds of Time'. Concert dates include: Markham Theatre in Markham ON April 11 with opening act standup comedian Glen Foster, 'That Canadian Guy' Boston Manor in Burlington ON May 12; and Theatre Rialto in Montreal PQ May 20. The mini tour will give eager D'Angelo fans a chance to be first to hear his new songs being performed live as he energizes the stage with his sensational 15 piece band.
With the imminent worldwide release of his new 14 song 'The Winds of Time' CD on April 10, the first released single 'You're The One' is starting to pick up speed worldwide as it's added to radio in Canada, the UK, Italy, France, Spain and Germany.
'You're The One' is written by Frank, is a powerful song about love, forgiveness and making relationships work. It is currently available on iTunes.
'THE WINDS OF TIME' is released by Blue Sapphire Music/DEP/Universal. The fourteen song disc showcases Frank's passionate vocals, heartfelt lyrics and of course the always spectacular Frank D'Angelo Band. His concerts are a night of great music and entertainment in the spirit of some of Canada's great R&B bands like Lighthouse and David Clayton Thomas. Frank and his band have entertained Canadian Troops and opened for Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and more. His debut CD, 'You Gotta Believe to Believe' was released in March 2007. The proceeds went towards breast cancer research. In 2008 he released his second album 'Full Circle'. In time for Christmas 2009, D'Angelo released a touching version of the holiday classic 'Silent Night' and then followed up in 2010 with an original song for the holidays, `Let's Celebrate', with proceeds going to charities that support the homeless.
