Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants appoints new board member and CEO
TORONTO, June 28 /CNW/ - The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) is pleased to announce that Imran Qayyum has been appointed to the Board of Directors as a consultant director effective June 26, 2010.
This appointment became necessary when John Ryan, former Chair and Acting CEO tendered his resignation from the CSIC Board. After careful deliberations by the Board, Qayyum was appointed. His term will expire in 2011.
Qayyum has been very active in the immigration consulting community and has extensive governance training. He also previously served on the CSIC Board.
The Board of Directors is further pleased to announce that John Ryan has accepted the full time position as CSIC's Chief Executive Officer.

The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants is the professional regulatory body for Certified Canadian Immigration Consultants.
