Canadian Software Product Smashes Learning Barriers for Local Students

TORONTO, June 14 /CNW/ - Erwin Sniedzins, Chairman, Mount Knowledge Inc., Toronto is pleased to announce the conclusion of a student performance case study conducted at the Silverthorn Collegiate Institute in Toronto.

Mount Knowledge conducted the test program using its unique 21st century interactive learning tool called the Knowledge Generator(TM) combined with "visualization memory techniques" from its learning methodology called Syntality(TM). These learning tools were developed to engage students into a constructivism learning environment promoting faster learning and comprehension.

The pilot program found students replacing words like "boring" and "impossible" with words like "instant knowledge" and "wow." The pilot was conducted with male Special Education students who were challenged to use the software product to learn from 300 to 1000 difficult words with at least 80% proficiency. Students were surprised to find how fast they could learn in a method that was not only effective, but created a fun learning experience!

On Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Mount Knowledge's Founder and Chairman, Erwin Sniedzins will present a number of awards to students who performed exceptionally during this pilot program. One special student who learned 1000 new words will be awarded prizes including his own personal copy of the Knowledge Generator valued at over $500.00. The awards presentation will occur at the Silverthorn Collegiate Institute, 291 Mill Street, Toronto.

Silverthorn Principal, Ron Ellis stated, "We brought in Mount Knowledge to give our students a learning advantage. I am excited with our test results. We will be installing it in our main computer lab for access by all classes."
