Canadian study confirms Heart Fluctuations from Cordless Phones

PETERBOROUGH, ON, Oct. 21 /CNW/ - The European Journal of Oncology today published evidence that heart fluctuations are caused by a household cordless telephone.
"These phones operate on microwaves, just like cell phones and WiFi," said Dr. Magda Havas PhD., associate professor at Trent University in Ontario, Canada and lead author of the study.
The international study measured heart rates of 25 subjects and showed moderate to severe response in 40 percent of them when a cordless phone was turned on.
"They use the same microwave frequency as WiFi which may explain the number of kids reporting heart fluctuations in schools that have installed it," said Havas.
