Canadian Videogame Awards Announce Finalists from 2014
Child of Light and Watch_Dogs Lead as 2014 Game Finalists in 9 Categories Each
TORONTO, Nov. 10, 2014 /CNW/ - The 2014 finalists for the Canadian Videogame Awards were announced today in seventeen categories. The winners will be revealed at the annual event to be held on November 21, 2014 at the Carlu in the heart of downtown Toronto.
69 nominations for games released in 2014 were received from all parts of Canada, with 28 games represented in the list of finalists. All awards are for work developed in Canada. A body of industry experts from across the country will vote on the winners in each category.
Members of the general public can get involved by casting their vote for the Fans' Choice Award at www.canadianvideogameawards.com/game-of-the-year/. Voting will close November 17th.

- Company of Heroes 2 - The Western Front Armies (Relic Entertainment)

- Hitman GO (Square Enix Montréal)

- Super Time Force (Capybara Games)
- Uncanny X-Men: Days of Future Past (Glitchsoft)
- Warhammer 40,000: Carnage (Roadhouse Interactive Ltd.)
- Watch_Dogs (Ubisoft Montréal)

This year's show will be live-streamed on Twitch, the world's leading video platform and community for gamers and EPN.tv, and broadcast on G4 Canada November 29th at 6pm, 9pm and 12am and Sunday, November 30th at 2pm, 7pm and 11pm.

The Canadian Videogame Awards are produced by Reboot Communications, EP Media Ltd. and Swaf Media, and officially endorsed by the Entertainment Software Association of Canada, Interactive Ontario and DigiBC. The producers are joined by a national advisory board of developers and leaders in the Canadian digital entertainment industry.
