Special Meeting of Shareholders on March 4, 2010

EDMONTON, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - Canadian Western Bank (TSX: CWB) today announced a change of venue for its upcoming Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held in Edmonton on March 4, 2010.

The location of the Annual and Special Meeting will now be at the Westin Edmonton (Manitoba and Saskatchewan rooms) located at 10135 - 100 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. The previous location was the Winspear Centre (Studio Room) located at 9720 - 102 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta.

The anticipated start time for the Annual and Special Meeting remains unchanged at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (5:00 p.m. ET). The Annual and Special Meeting will be audio-cast and the presentation to shareholders by CWB's executives will be webcast and available from the Bank's website at:
