- Bugs Bunny takes top spot in TELETOON Retro's Hall of Fame
- Top 5 characters get their very own programming marathon this holiday season
TORONTO, Dec. 16 /CNW/ - From Shaggy and Tweety to Yogi Bear and Fred Flintstone, TELETOON Retro viewers voted for their 'Top 5' characters of all time to be inducted into the TELETOON Retro Hall of Fame. Through voting on teletoonretro.com and a Facebook voting application culminating in more than 170,000 votes in just over a month, the following characters are the first inductees into TELETOON Retro's Hall of Fame: 1) Bugs Bunny; 2) Scooby-Doo; 3) Optimus Prime; 4) Batman; and 5) Spider-Man.
In commemoration of these new inductees, TELETOON Retro will host one day of special programming dedicated to each character. The all-day marathon for each character is as follows:
- Bugs Bunny - Thursday, December 30
- Scooby-Doo - Wednesday, December 29
- Optimus Prime (On Transformers) - Tuesday, December 28
- Batman - Monday, December 27
- Spider-Man - Sunday, December 26
