Canadians Views on Race Relations
TORONTO, June 5, 2020 /CNW/ - A new DART & maru/Blue poll shows a majority (69%) believe there is prejudice against visible minorities in Canada today but when they look across the country, in their communities, neighbourhoods and police departments, only a minority recognize it.
Few Canadians think much progress in race relations has been made over the past decade. Quebecers believe they have the best race relations, while those from Alberta and Manitoba/Saskatchewan judge themselves to be at the bottom of the rung.
