TORONTO, March 29, 2012 /CNW/ - From August 10-12, 2012, thousands will rock out to the world's top country acts at the first annual Boots and Hearts Music Festival. Taking place at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, this will be the largest international country music festival ever hosted on Canadian soil. Headlining the festival's stunning list of artists are Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, and Alabama, and some of the best names in country music will also perform including Paul Brandt, Big and Rich, Lauren Alaina, Jason McCoy, Dallas Smith, High Valley, Canaan Smith, and many more.
"Canadians deserve a festival where they can enjoy the very best country music has to offer and camp with their friends and family without having to travel to the United States," said Shannon McNevan, partner and executive director, Republic Live, the promoter and producer of the festival. "We have three full days of country music on two stages, tailgates, barbeques, and all kinds of activities throughout the day to keep fans entertained. And just when other music festivals call it a night, Boots and Hearts will ramp things up with nightly after-parties. It's definitely shaping up to be the party of the summer."
The Boots and Hearts Music Festival boasts an astonishing line-up of superstars, including more than 20 international and Canadian artists on two stages. Festival-goers will be able to camp under the stars with thousands of others at one of the best festival grounds in North America.
The newly refurbished park offers 750 acres of manicured grass land and rolling hills - the perfect venue to set up camp and enjoy the music stylings from top country artists. During the day people can take a stroll through Boom Town, let their kids play in the kids zone and petting zoo, sample authentic country fare, shop the local Farmer's Market, purchase handmade local crafts, test their skills on a mechanical bull, and enjoy the Country Fair & Midway.
Ticket Availability
Three-day passes are available April 4th for $199.99 and camping permits start at $62.99 - both can be purchased at http://www.bootsandhearts.com/.
