MONTRÉAL, March 20, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - "Over the last few days, Desjardins has adopted a series of preventive measures aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19. In these exceptional circumstances, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins (CRCD), initially scheduled for the Québec City Convention Centre, will take place as planned, on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 1:45 p.m., but via online webcast only. Once again this year, we urge shareholders who are unable to attend CRCD's AGM to use the proxy form you have already received by mail to exercise your right to vote."
Bernard Bolduc, Chair of the Board of Directors of CRCD, made the announcement to promote the health and safety of CRCD shareholders. The online format will allow shareholders to view the meeting, ask questions and cast their votes live based on the number of shares they hold.
