AUSTIN, Texas, June 1, 2015 /CNW/ -- As part of their five year-long partnership, car2go N.A. LLC, the market leader for one-way carsharing in North America, and the LIVESTRONG Foundation today announced the kick-off of #DriveTheFight, a new week-long campaign that will help support LIVESTRONG's programs that aim to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now.  

Beginning today, car2go members in the U.S. and Canada will be encouraged via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and the car2go smartphone app to tweet the hashtag #DriveTheFight.  Each time a car2go member uses a car2go and tweets the hashtag #DriveTheFight, car2go will donate $1 per kilometer driven until June 7, National Cancer Survivors Day®.
