The self-service car-sharing company unites with Sun Youth to transport those who need it most
MONTRÉAL, Dec.17, 2014 /CNW/ - Each year, the holidays represent an occasion to celebrate and share with those closest to us and those we hold dear to our hearts. car2go would like to thank its 24,000 members and Montrealers for the warm welcome and thousands of car-sharing journeys this year. In order to further embrace car-sharing this holiday season, car2go will be offering up their team and vehicles to the Sun Youth Organization to help with the distribution of Christmas baskets and donations.
From December 18 to 24th, 600 families per day will knock on Sun Youth's door looking for food, clothes or toys so that they can spend a merry holiday. The car2go team, is thus, sharing their time to help those with reduced mobility to get home with their donations following their visit to the centre.
Pay it forward with car-sharing
So as to perpetuate this car-sharing movement, car2go is offering free membership and 30 driving minutes. Simply visit the site, car2gotime.com and use the promotional code CAR2GOTIME before December 21st to register and receive free minutes. It is the perfect occasion to give a friend or a family member a helping hand this holiday season.
