Caracal Energy Shareholders Approve Name Change

CALGARY, May 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Caracal Energy, an independent oil and gas exploration, appraisal and development company with exclusive rights to explore and develop oil and gas reserves and resources over an area of approximately 26,103 km2 (6.4 million acres) in the south of the Republic of Chad, Africa, announces that at the Annual and Special Meeting held today in London shareholders approved the resolution to adopt Caracal Energy Inc. as the Company's legal name. Caracal Energy had previously been named Griffiths Energy International Inc.
