Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada Celebrates 50th Anniversary at 31st Annual WALK OF LIFE

The goal is to raise more than half a million dollars to support heart disease prevention, education, and cardiac rehab

TORONTO, May 20, 2015 /CNW/ - On Saturday May 30, 2015 more than 2,500 Torontonians – young and old- will participate in the WALK OF LIFE. Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada's annual event to raise funds for the awareness of heart disease- Canada's number two killer.

"We're thrilled to celebrate our 50^th anniversary at this year's WALK OF LIFE, a truly special year to commemorate the tremendous impact achieved by the Foundation, which translates into helping hundreds of thousands of Canadians affected by heart disease." said Leo DelZotto, President, Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada. "Funds raised will support cardiac rehab programs, scholarships, medical equipment, patient educational material and facilities at 30 hospitals and clinics across Canada. In addition, four cardiac Health related charitable organizations will benefit from the funds raised"
