MONTREAL, Feb. 27, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Cargo Montreal (CargoM), the Logistics and Transportation Metropolitan Cluster of Montreal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Magali Amiel as Director, Strategy and Projects at CargoM.
Ms. Amiel has been a member of the CargoM team since its inception in 2013. She served as Senior Project Manager and for several years has managed CargoM working groups. Ms. Amiel's academic background and career path enabled her to develop extensive expertise in freight transport and logistics at both the metropolitan level and internationally.
"Due to her experience and qualifications, Magali is an integral part of CargoM's success and increasingly widespread recognition. Her expertise ensures quality actions from CargoM. She has been dedicatedly involved at all levels of the cluster since its implementation in 2013. I am very pleased for her appointment," said Mathieu Charbonneau, Executive Director of CargoM.
Among other things, this new position will allow Ms. Amiel to officially represent the cluster to government authorities. "It is a great pleasure for CargoM to appoint the first Director on its team, and we wish Magali every success in this new position," said Sylvie Vachon, Chair of CargoM's Board of Directors and President and CEO of the Montreal Port Authority.
