Caribou Copper Resources Limited Announces Results From Fall Drilling Program
In
In the interval between 339 feet and 346 feet in DH-104, copper mineralization consisting of massive and finely bedded chalcopyrite were recovered. This seven-foot interval is a new zone of mineralization not previously encountered. The weighted average grade over the seven feet was 1.83% copper with the highest value at 4.64% copper over 2.2 feet. In addition, the 2.2 foot interval contained 0.26 opt of silver. Additional drilling will be required to determine the strike, dip, true width, and spatial extent of this new discovery.
Deeper in DH-104, the 6.8-foot interval from 669.2 feet to 676.0 feet encountered copper with a weighted average 0.51% in line with lode 6 at depth confirming the continuation of mineralization at depth.
While no visible copper was observed in DH-103, elevated levels of copper (0.25%) were observed over a four-foot interval in line with the mineralized zone of the eastern portion of lode 6.
Significant results ((greater than)0.10% Copper) within the 47 samples are as follows:
