CarProof raises $6,000 for Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to help give kids a sporting chance

LONDON, ON, Aug. 2, 2012 /CNW/ - CarProof Vehicle History Reports, Canada's most trusted vehicle history report provider, is helping to give children across Canada a season in sport, thanks to CarProof's Drive to Help Day, a recently held fundraising event.

On July 18, CarProof pledged to donate a portion of its daily sales to Canadian Tire Jumpstart, a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. Thanks to consumers and CarProof dealers, who supported the initiative through the purchase of CarProof's vehicle history reports, the company raised $6,000 for Jumpstart to help Canadian children participate in organized sports.

"One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enrol their children in sports activities, and Jumpstart is making a huge difference in getting those kids in the game. CarProof is a proudly Canadian company, and we're committed to giving back to our communities across the country.  We couldn't be more pleased to contribute to Jumpstart's efforts," shared Drew Forret, CarProof COO/CFO.

The Jumpstart fundraiser was another in CarProof's Drive to Help efforts, which are part of the company's ongoing commitment to help out the many wonderful charitable organizations across Canada. In the past, CarProof has participated in clothing drives, spent an afternoon preparing food baskets at the local food bank and purchased presents and food items to help families have a great Christmas.
