Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Launch in Canada Today
TORONTO, July 4, 2012 /CNW/ - TELETOON Canada Inc. flipped the switch today on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, giving Canadians access to programming from these top-rated U.S. brands. The brand new Canadian specialty channel Cartoon Network launched at 6 a.m. ET/PT today, while Adult Swim programming will assume its nightly position on the network starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Cartoon Network features a programming lineup for kids and families stacked with comedy shows such as Level Up, Regular Show and The Amazing World of Gumball from 6 a.m. ET/PT to 9 p.m. ET/PT. From 9 p.m. ET/PT onwards, Adult Swim offers up irreverent, funny shows like Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, The Venture Bros. and Aqua Teen Hunger Force to young adult viewers.
Today's launch also features a robust online component. Cartoonnetwork.ca launched this morning with over 150 games, while adultswimcanada.com includes highlights such as a tongue-in-cheek Canadian citizenship quiz.
