MONTRÉAL, April 27, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Due to the fact that the Casino de Montréal's L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon (AJR) has been closed since March 2020 because of the pandemic, the contract with Groupe Robuchon was terminated, effective as of April 2021.
The exceptional circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty surrounding the time at which the Casino will reopen have informed this decision.
Consequently, a review has been launched into the future of experiential dining at both the Casino de Montréal and the Casino du Lac-Leamy. As soon as the situation allows for restaurant services to recommence at the Casino de Montréal, the space formerly occupied by L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon will be used by the Asian restaurant Ajia to expand its number of seats.
The Société des casinos du Québec is proud of the exceptional work accomplished by the AJR staff who were devoted to offering an unforgettable dining experience to the restaurant's clientele.
Joel Robuchon International (JRI) takes this opportunity to thank the Casino de Montréal and all the guests who supported and enjoyed L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and looks forward to seeing them again soon.
