Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP acquires securities of Mantis Mineral Corp.

TORONTO, March 5, 2014 /CNW/ - Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP ("CBB") announced today that on February 21, 2014, CBB acquired ownership and control of an aggregate of 28,907,040 common shares (the "Subject Shares") of Mantis Mineral Corp. (the "Company") at a deemed cost of $0.005 per Subject Share for aggregate deemed consideration of $144,535.20.

CBB did not previously own any securities of the Company and upon completion of the transaction described above, CBB owned and controlled an aggregate of 28,907,040 common shares of the Company, representing approximately 20.5% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.

The Subject Shares were acquired in a private transaction and CBB could increase or decrease its investment in the Company at any time, or continue to maintain its current investment position, depending on market conditions or any other relevant factor.  The Subject Shares were acquired pursuant to the exemption contained in Section 2.3 of National Instrument 45-106 on the basis that CBB is an accredited investor as defined in such instrument.

Following the completion of the transaction described above, the Company completed their previously announced business combination ("Business Combination") pursuant to which the Company amalgamated with Gondwana Energy Corp. ("Gondwana") to form an amalgamated entity named "Gondwana Oil Corp." (the "Resulting Issuer"). As a result of the Business Combination, CBB's securityholding percentage in the Resulting Issuer was reduced to approximately 2.8% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Resulting Issuer immediately post-closing.
