CALGARY, Dec. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Cassels Brock is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its client service offerings in Commercial Real Estate law with the addition of Stuart F. Blyth as a partner in the firm's Calgary office.
In his broadly-based commercial real estate practice, Stuart acts for major developers in Alberta, as well as other large clients – both domestic and international – who execute significant numbers of real estate matters. Stuart offers particular experience and knowledge in relation to pipeline real estate matters and telecommunications real estate matters. He also advises on compliance with the Foreign Ownership of Land Regulations of Alberta, respecting acquisition of lands by foreign corporations.
"Our clients in the natural resources sector deal with real estate issues on a constant basis," says Mark Young, Managing Partner. "Adding Stuart to our team in Calgary ensures we are able to properly assist our mining and energy clients on all aspects of their projects. We are excited to have him join our team."
The Calgary office of Cassels Brock opened in April 2016 with an aim to build on the firm's global reputation as a leader in mining by adding expertise in the oil and gas sector to fully service the natural resources industry and to expand its capability in the financial services sector to better serve Alberta clients and execute on national mandates.
Stuart can be reached at [email protected] or 403 351 3022.
