Cathay Forest Products Corp. Announces Election of New Board of Directors

TORONTO, July 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Cathay Forest Products Corp. (the "Company") announced that at its special meeting of shareholders held earlier today, the Company's shareholders elected a new board of directors consisting of the following four individuals: J. Bruce Barraclough, Peter K. Brown, C. Ian Ross, and Michael D. Woollcombe.

The new board will update the Company's shareholders regarding the status of the Company's affairs in due course.
