Cathedral Energy Services announces board appointment

CALGARY, Oct. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - Cathedral Energy Services Ltd. (the "Company" or "Cathedral" /TSX: CET) is pleased to announce that Cathedral's Board of Directors have appointed Dale E. Tremblay as non-executive director of the Company, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Tremblay has extensive oilfield service business experience in senior management positions at both domestic and international companies. Mr. Tremblay has been involved in start-up companies and the growth of a public company to an approximate market value of $6.5 billion.
Mr. Tremblay was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Western Energy Services Corp from December 2009 to December 2013. Prior thereto, Mr. Tremblay was the Chairman of SES Holdings Limited, the parent company of Saxon Energy Services Inc., from August 2005 to December 2009 in addition to serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Saxon Energy Services Inc. Prior thereto; Mr. Tremblay was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Precision Drilling Corporation from June 1988 to June 2005.
In addition, Mr. Tremblay is a non-executive director of Horizon North Logistics Inc. since May 2010, McCoy Global Inc. since May 2015, and ATK Oilfield Transportation Inc. since March 2014.
