Cathedral Energy Services Announces Director Election Results and Adoption of Advance Notice By-law

CALGARY, April 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Cathedral Energy Services Ltd. (the "Company" or "Cathedral" /TSX: CET) held its annual and special meeting of shareholders on April 23, 2014. A total of 22,472,479 common shares representing 62.10% of the Company's issued and outstanding common shares were voted in connection with the meeting. All the nominees proposed as directors were duly elected as directors of the Company by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders present or represented by proxy at the meeting, as follows:

The Company is also pleased to announce the adoption of an advance notice by-law (the "By-law"). The By-law became effective following the Company's annual and special meeting of shareholders held on April 23, 2014. A copy of the By-law is available under the Company's profile at www.sedar.com.
Among other things, the By-law fixes a deadline by which shareholders must submit a notice of director nominations to the Company in order for such nominations to be proposed at annual or special meetings of shareholders where directors are to be elected. Further, the By-law sets forth the information that a shareholder must include in the notice for it to be valid. In the case of an annual meeting of shareholders, notice to the Company must be made not less than 30 nor more than 65 days prior to the date set for the annual meeting.
