Catholic Teachers Congratulate Premier Wynne
Look Forward To Working Together To Continue Improving Education In Ontario
TORONTO, June 13, 2014 /CNW/ - James Ryan, President of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association, congratulates Kathleen Wynne on her election victory and forming the next majority government in Ontario.
"Kathleen Wynne and the Liberal party put forward a progressive plan to keep Ontario moving forward and we are pleased to continue to work with her and her government," says Ryan.
"The Liberal plan for education will build on the many successes already achieved and we look forward to working together to address areas where more focus is needed, such as in special education," adds Ryan.
"One of our first priorities to address with the new government will be the start of provincial bargaining under Bill 122," says Ryan. "We are confident that the new government is committed to a transparent and respectful negotiation where creative ideas and solutions are valued."
