Catholic Teachers Welcome Liz Sandals as New Minister of Education
TORONTO, Feb. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario's Catholic Teachers welcome the appointment of Liz Sandals as Minister of Education.
"We look forward to working with Minister Sandals in her new role and to forging a productive relationship with her," says Kevin O'Dwyer, President of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association (OECTA). "As a former Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education, school board trustee and Chair of the Ontario Public School Board Association, Sandals bring a wealth of experience to the portfolio."

OECTA represents the 43,000 professional women and men who teach all grades in publicly funded English Catholic schools in Ontario.
