Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square this evening
TORONTO, Nov. 30, 2019 /CNW/ - The annual Cavalcade of Lights presented by Great Gulf will illuminate Nathan Phillips Square this Saturday, November 30 at 7 p.m. with DJ skating parties, live music, the first lighting of Toronto's official Christmas tree, fireworks and more.

Time: 7 to 10:30 p.m.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
A media area will be available on the ramp to the City Hall podium roof next to the Christmas tree. Members of the media are asked to email [email protected] or call 416-392-4467 to request assistance with any production needs or arrange spokesperson and artist interviews. Broadcast media crews are advised to arrive early for their setup.

6:30 p.m. Pre-show skating party, sponsored by Tim Hortons®, with award-winning Canadian hip-hop icon DJ Mel Boogie
7:20 p.m. Traditional welcome by Elder Garry Sault
7:30 p.m. Nunavut's radiant young electropop artist Riit
8:10 p.m. First lighting of the Christmas tree, sponsored by Toronto Hydro, and remarks
8:35 p.m. Performance by Lemon Bucket Orkestra sponsored by Great Gulf
9:30 p.m. Fireworks display sponsored by Toronto Real Estate Board
