CAW Demands Job Guarantees on Any Investment in F-35 Aircraft
OTTAWA, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - In a presentation tomorrow to the Standing Committee on National Defense regarding the proposed F-35 procurement, the CAW will call on the government to include Canadian job guarantees with any possible investment of public funds.
Jerry Dias, assistant to CAW National President will make the presentation on behalf of the union.
The presentation will take place tomorrow, Thursday November 25 at approximately 3:30 p.m. at 362 East Block on the Parliament Hill.
The CAW represents approximately 10,000 aerospace workers across the country at Pratt & Whitney, Bombardier, Boeing of Canada and a number of other companies.
