TORONTO, June 23, 2012 /CNW/ - The CAW has reached tentative agreements with Bombardier Aerospace, only moments before a midnight strike deadline last night.
The two tentative agreements would cover 1,800 production and skilled trades workers, represented by CAW Local 112 and 450 office, technical and professional workers, represented by CAW Local 673, at Bombardier's De Havilland facility in Downsview, Ontario.
Workers will vote on the contents of the new contract on Sunday, June 24 at a ratification meeting beginning at 3 p.m.
Details of the contract will be released following ratification.
