Celebrate excellence in Public Relations at Gemstone Awards, May 10, 2012

HALIFAX, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Excitement is building for the 2012 Gemstone Awards, taking place on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Westin Nova Scotian - get your tickets today. Presented by the Canadian Public Relations Society of Nova Scotia, the Gemstone Awards celebrate Atlantic Canadian excellence in public relations.

The 5:30 p.m. reception provides the perfect opportunity to network with colleagues, business partners and the nominees before the ceremony begins. Dinner and the awards presentations will follow at 6:30 p.m. hosted by Halifax's familiar television host, actor and writer, Nancy Regan.

Each year, submissions for Amethyst-level awards are received for Internal Communications, External Communications, Digital Communications, Digital Communications and Media Relations. Jasper-level submissions are received for Print, Electronic and Social Media, Special Events, Multi-Media and Low-Budget Masterpiece.
