Industry magazine releases Water's Next 2012
TORONTO, Jan. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Water Canada magazine is pleased to launch second annual publication dedicated to recognizing Canadian leadership in water.
"Mainstream media attention to aging infrastructure in cities, poor water quality on First Nation reserves, and fear of bulk water exports is important, but often overshadows the good news stories about the remarkable work being done in Canada," says Kerry Freek, Editor, Water Canada, and co-author of Water's Next 2012: Celebrating Canada's Best and Brightest in Water. "Our country has energized leaders, innovative technologies and businesses, quality research, and unique solutions to meet local and global water challenges. Water's Next shares and celebrates these accomplishments. Congratulations to the 20 featured nominees for their hard work and commitment to making safe, healthy water resources a priority."
