Celebrating Ottawa's 2016 Silver Leaf Award Winners

OTTAWA, Dec. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - The International Association of Business Communicators Canada (IABC Canada) announced the winners of the 2016 Silver Leaf Awards for excellence in business communication and six Ottawa organizations were among the winners.
"In Ottawa, we have a thriving community of marketing, communications and creative professionals and we're delighted that our region boasts eight award winners in this national competition," said Dominique Jolicoeur, president, IABC Ottawa. "We're proud to honour and celebrate the hard work of the Ottawa area communicators being recognized by this prestigious award."
The Silver Leaf Awards celebrate excellence in business communication and is an unrivalled opportunity for communicators to receive industry recognition for their outstanding strategic and results-driven work. Evaluation is based on IABC's global seven-point scale of excellence for strategic planning and execution. Entries must receive a score of 5.12 to 5.49 to receive an Award of Merit while entries scoring 5.5 or higher receive an Award of Excellence.
Of the 53 entries honoured with a Silver Leaf Award, eight were awarded to Ottawa area communicators:
