A Hivernales happening on February 11!
MONTRÉAL, Feb. 10, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - This Saturday, you're invited to come play outside at the Igloofest site, which will become the meeting point for three Hivernales events. Starting at 1 p.m., meet us at the Jacques-Cartier Pier in the Old Port of Montréal to take part in Igloofest's Nordik Games, complete the Ice Canoe Challenge activity "Enwèye en canot – Take a kayak" or welcome the participants of the Snow Moon by bike when they arrive on site that evening.

Snow Moon by bike
A magical winter moonlit bike ride through the streets of Montreal! As part of the Montreal 375th Anniversary Hivernales celebrations, cycling and winter enthusiasts are invited to take part in a luminescent parade of bikes along a 3.75-km route. Seasoned cyclists can up the ante and add a 10 or 15-km jaunt to the Olympic Stadium to the excursion.

IGLOOFEST – JEUX NORDIK
For the 375th's Hivernales, IGLOOFEST brings us even more northern fun with free activities for everyone and two extra Saturdays of wild competitions with Les Jeux Nordik and Off-Igloofest evenings on its program. You can also discover the amazing slides at Place Jacques-Cartier and the Nordik Village.

Montréal Ice Canoe Challenge
It's two exhilarating days of heart-pumping competition as top-level athletes race their canoes across more than 10 metres of the glacial St. Lawrence River. Come out and cheer on Captain Mylène Paquette and her VIVE MONTRÉAL 375 crew, or one of the dozens of other teams, for a fun-filled skill testing day on Saturday or the spectacular race on Sunday.

Montreal Hypothermic Half Marathon
To all runners, young and old: time to lace up for the Montreal Hypothermic Half-Marathon. This year, we've added two races to the line-up. For this 12th edition, participants can opt for the 21.1-km, 10.55-km, or 2-person relay that covers a double circuit.
