Céline Dion Releases 'Céline une seule fois/Live 2013' May 19th

2CD/DVD From Her Landmark Performance on the Historic Plains of Abraham

QUÉBEC, April 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc. announced today, details from the upcoming release of the live 2CD/DVD 'Céline une seule fois/Live 2013', a recording of her spectacular live concert on the historic Plains of Abraham in Québec City.  Filmed on July 27, 2013, 'Céline ...une seule fois' was her only concert performance in Canada in 2013. The best-selling Canadian artist of all time performed her greatest hits in this specially created show for her fans.  Last night, viewers were treated to the broadcast of 'Céline une seule fois/Live 2013' on the TVA network.

The 2CD/DVD opens with "Ce n'était qu'un rêve," Céline's debut single from 1981, and contains her greatest hits, including tracks from her recent 3x Platinum French language release Sans attendre and the world debut of the single "Loved Me Back To Life" from her same-titled now 4x Platinum album, released later that year.  Taped shortly after the tragedy at Lac-Mégantic, Céline dedicated the show to the victims of the train crash that killed 47 on July 6^th in the Québec town.

It was a monumental week for Céline, as while in Québec City for the concert, she was presented the Companion to the Order of Canada, (the highest civilian honour in the country), by the Governor General in a ceremony at the Citadel.

'Céline une seule fois/Live 2013' a one-time historic show, was taped on the open-air stage in front of 40,000 fans.  The set features a DVD of the entire concert and 2 live CDs which also include 4 bonus tracks from Céline's 2013 sold-out Paris shows. Also available in 2 CD/Blu-ray, this must-have collection arrives in stores May 19th!

Céline Dion returns to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on June 10th with tour dates running through the summer.
