Cequence Energy Reports Voting Results of Election of Directors
CALGARY, May 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Cequence Energy Inc. (the "Company" or "Cequence") (TSX: CQE) is pleased to report that at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held on May 28, 2013 that each of the nominees proposed by management as a director of the Corporation were elected as directors of the Company, other than Paul Colborne who had previously announced his resignation from the board.
Paul Colborne recently resigned from the Board due to his increased involvement as CEO of another public oil and gas company. The board and management of the Company would like to thank Mr. Colborne for his contributions, enthusiasm and leadership over the years, and wish him well in his future endeavors.

In addition, management and the board of the Company extend their thanks to Jim Gray for his years of service on the board. Mr. Gray stepped down from the Board of Directors of Cequence at the annual and special meeting. Mr. Gray was the co-founder of Canadian Hunter Exploration in the 1970's and was instrumental in the recognition and discovery of the giant Deep Basin gas field at Elmworth. He acted as a mentor to a number of the Company's geological staff in the 1980's and served on the Board of Temple Exploration and Temple Energy with much of the Company's current management team. In addition, he served on the boards of Canadian National Railway, Brookfield, Phoenix Technology and numerous not-for-profit societies and he remains an iconic figure in the Calgary philanthropic community.
