Ceres Global Ag Corp. Announces Addition to Senior Management
TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Ceres Global Ag Corp. ("Ceres" or the "Company") (TSX: CRP) announced today that it has further strengthened its commercial team with the addition of Mr. Robert Day, who will assume the role of Vice President, Trading and Risk Management for Ceres' grain division as of March 1st 2015.
Mr. Day's experience stretches back over 20 years, with extensive international experience working with Cargill Inc. in grain and oilseed operations throughout Asia and in Mexico. Most recently, Mr. Day had been with ED&F Man Ltd., working in risk management and providing working capital financing opportunities for the sugar and grain industries in Mexico.
Concurrently with the addition of Mr. Day, Mr. Craig Reiners will now assume the role of Senior Vice President ("VP") of Grain for the Company, overseeing Ceres' grain operations.
Mr. Day will work alongside the Senior VP of Grain and CEO to develop commercial opportunities at Riverland Ag and Northgate, while also building out and managing Ceres' grain trading team.
