CFA Society Toronto invites submissions for the 2019 Financial Journalism Awards - Deadline 21 January 2019
TORONTO, Dec. 14, 2018 /CNW/ - CFA Society Toronto is pleased to invite submissions for the 2019 Financial Journalism Awards. The awards were first introduced in 2013 to recognizing the contributions of different Canadian based publications and journalists towards the advancement of investor education, best practice and the promotion of ethics and high professional standards within the financial community.
These awards identify and acknowledge publications and journalists whose work helps consumers and practitioners gain a better understanding of the investment profession. In order to win, submissions need to be explanatory, relevant, and backed up by data and fact.
"Investment professionals that hold the CFA designation pride themselves on maintaining high professional standards and putting clients first. The financial press is often the main conduit between the investment profession and the end investor. These awards recognize journalists whose work reflects our standards of integrity, education, transparency and relevance" said Stephanie Condra, CFA, Member Communications Committee Chair.
The three award categories for the 2019 Financial Journalism Awards are Publication of the Year, Journalist of the Year, and Future of Finance Award. Qualifying publications will be asked to submit three articles from the past 12 months that best demonstrate their commitment to investor education, ethics and high professional standards to [email protected] before 5PM EST on 21 January 2019.

Awards will be presented at the annual CFA Society Toronto Media Contact Directory launch in April 2019.
