CGA-Canada's 2010 Reviewer's Forum Dedicated to Excellence in Professional

TORONTO, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada) is hosting its second annual Reviewer's Forum in Toronto, Ontario from November 24 to 26. This two-day forum brings together practitioners from across the country to gain in-depth knowledge and expertise on accounting standards. The combination of presentations and interactive breakout sessions provides participants with a unique opportunity to work with the content they have learned, in addition to networking with other practitioners.

"Following on the success of last year's Reviewer's Forum, this event offers a unique opportunity for professionals to discuss and analyze the many changes in their environment," says Anthony Ariganello, President and Chief Executive Officer of CGA-Canada. Some topics covered at this year's Reviewer's Forum include: Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS), Domestic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including Private Enterprise and Not-For-Profit Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), risk-based auditing, risk management and tax practice.
