CGI Announces that David L. Johnston Will Resign from its Board of Directors

MONTREAL, July 15 /CNW Telbec/ - CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, announced today that effective September 30, 2010, Mr. David L. Johnston will resign from the CGI Board of Directors as a result of his being appointed Canada's Governor General Designate.

Mr. Johnston has served on the CGI Board of Directors since 1995, acting as its Lead Director from 1998 to 2003. He also served as Chair of the Human Resources Committee from 1998 to 2009, and is currently the Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee.
