As the only award program of its kind in Canada, Canadian Dealmakers recognizes both Canadian companies and individuals for their significant contributions to the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market. Awards are given to recipients whose transactions have significantly impacted their industry by promoting innovation and growth, establishing M&A best practices, enhancing customer service and/or product delivery, and creating value that extends beyond a return on investment.
The Value Creation Award recognizes a Canadian headquartered company that has demonstrated significant value creation through an acquisition completed in the last five years. From fiscal 2013 to 2018, CGI's stock price appreciated by more than 180% or 24% growth per year over the period.
