MONTRÉAL, Dec. 21, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) today announced the release of the 2016 Annual Review, which captures highlights of CGI's performance throughout the year in helping clients with their end-to-end digital transformation. The Annual Review comes on the heels of the publication of the CGI Global 1000 outlook, which brings together the trends and priorities from more than 1,000 in-person conversations with business and technology client executives.
As revealed in the outlook, more than 70% of these leaders cited the pressures from the rapid rise in influence of digital customers and citizens as their top trend, representing a continued shift in thinking with respect to running, changing and growing their organizations. As a result, the role of technology is moving from an enabler to a driver of business change to modernize and transform today's legacy assets and connect them to digital business and operating models. The Annual Review focuses on how CGI provides its end-to-end digital transformation services and solutions through its client proximity model to help clients realize the promises of digital transformation.
"Given the clear and compounding trends over the years surrounding the digital agenda globally, we published the CGI Global 1000 report for the benefit of all existing and prospective clients. This outlook is then reflected in our strategic plans to ensure we are best positioned to meet client demand," said George D. Schindler, President and CEO, CGI. "The digital needs of customers and citizens are bringing about the transformation of commercial and government organizations around the world. The Annual Review is a demonstration of how we have partnered with our clients over the past year to support them in becoming digital in a holistic and sustainable way."
The 2016 Annual Review includes a summary of CGI's unique approach to listening to the needs of our stakeholders to continuously adapt our strategy to best meet their needs. It showcases the digital innovation we are creating with our clients, and provides testimonials and representative success stories on our digital transformation partnerships with clients.
