CGI wins US$9.2 million task order from the U.S. Department of State's Bureau

FAIRFAX, VA, Sept. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, has awarded Stanley Associates, Inc. (Stanley), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CGI Federal Inc. (CGI) (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), a US$9.2 million firm-fixed-price task order with a one-year base and four, one-year option periods on its 10-year multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Global Support Strategy (GSS) contract. This task order is the first task order won under the GSS contract, which has a US$2.8 billion ceiling. CGI finalized its acquisition of Stanley on August 17, 2010.
Under this task order award, CGI will deliver business process support services to support the processing of more than 320,000 non-immigrant and immigrant visas at U.S. embassies and consulates located in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
