Champlain Bridge: closure of 2 of 3 lanes - Schedule change for the night

LONGUEUIL, QC Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ -The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce a change in schedule for the closure of 2 of 3 lanes in the direction of the South Shore from September 22 to October 9 .

As part of the roadwork in the South Shore direction, closure of the lanes will now occur at two intervals: a first lane at 9:30 PM and a second lane at 10:00 PM . In both cases, the lanes will reopen to traffic at 5:00 AM .

Please also keep in mind that 2 out of 3 northbound lanes will be closed from October 13 until November 13 .

It is important to note that this preliminary schedule may change according to the progress of the repair work completed on the southbound lanes, then on the northbound lanes. Motorists are invited to use other bridges to the South Shore at night during the duration of the work, as well as the public transportation system.
