Champlain Bridge: Closure towards Montreal in the night of Friday July 23 to
Saturday July 24

LONGUEUIL, QC, July 21 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce the overnight closure of two out of three lanes on the Champlain Bridge towards Montreal from Friday, July 23 at 11 PM to Saturday morning, July 24, at 7 AM. Please note that the first lane will be closed at 9 PM on Friday.

This necessary work will allow us to repair a joint on the Champlain Bridge which has broken in the last days. (Photos : http://bit.ly/93DIN4 et http://bit.ly/90Q4oy)

This closure is in accordance with the announced weekend closures for the Honoré Mercier Bridge (www.mercierbridge.ca). The motorists are encouraged to take the Victoria or Jacques Cartier Bridges as alternate roads during Friday night to Saturday.

No other closure for the Champlain Bridge is scheduled this weekend.
